Bullock Harbour

Ireland East,

The rocks east of Bullock Harbour (GR O 263 277) have a good few boulder problems, deep-water solos and routes. The climbing style is a contrast to the granite of nearby Dalkey Quarry, with flared vertical cracks and juggy horizontal breaks of rough granite. A lot of the climbing feels more like soloing than bouldering and it can be committing and dangerous. "Lán Mara", "The Big Layback", "Toss The Feathers", "The Arete", "The Barrel Traverse" and "Reardon’s Roof" are especially worth seeking out.
