Bus de Vela

Bus de Vela is, very likely, not just a jewel for the area of Trento, but all of Italy. The crag was developed by Valerio Ballardini, one of the youngest developers from the Trento area. Other climbers such as Gabriele Moroni, Rolando Larcher, Massimo Faletti, Lino Celva, Giovanni Cozzio and Nicola de Angelis also contributed to the development. The crag consists of hard routes, with more than half being 8b and harder – a concentration of difficulties making this area one of the hardest on all of the Italian peninsula. The quality limestone and variety of routes with hard moves and endurance test pieces, make this a 5 star area.
