Pyli Little Gorge

If you are looking for Kalymnos-style organization and cliff quality, Pyli Little Gorge and Mouzaki are as good as it gets in Central and Northern Greece. But unlike Kalymnos, they are both situated in lush mountainous regions with crystal-clear rivers, and, as an extra bonus, Meteora is only about 45km to the north. It sits at the foot of the Pindus mountain range, on the pass between the regions of Thessaly and Epirus. Pýli means ‘gate’, and that’s exactly what the town is: a gateway to the gorge of the Portaikos River.
