Bärenfels

Südtirol/Alto Adige, IT

The crag Bärenfels was originally set up by the military and renovated by local climbers several years ago. Due to the altitude, it is especially recommended during summer months. The particular type of rock takes a bit of getting used to, you will mainly climb on ledges and cracks in the overhang. With impressive views of the Ortler you can even climb in the rain, but after several rainy days, water is also running from the wall and climbing is no longer possible.
