Glen Lednock

Scotland, GB

By far the most extensive bouldering venue in Perthshire, and situated mostly under the reservoir dam in Glen Lednock (high above Comrie), this concentrated and exposed venue is terrific in summer, bouldering is also possible in winter on a still clear day, but bad weather can drive in quickly. There are dozens of blocs of moderate size with plenty for all sizes and capabilities. The landowner has locked the approach gates, so it’s a 1km walk up to the venue, but it’s worth it. Explored as a bouldering venue originally by Kevin Howett and friends, it still has plenty of projects left for the strong.
