Dunkeld
Scotland, GB
Dunkeld is more famous for its sport crags, especially the superlative Upper Cave Crag, and the bouldering is somewhat overshadowed, but it does offer solitude when the sport crags are queued out. Watch out for ticks in summer, the best time to boulder is ate autumn and winter during a dry spell when the insects have gone. The bouldering is scattered through the woods north of the village below Craig a Barns’ crags and ridges. There are plenty of access paths and room for exploration beyond.
