Hermes is a small sub-sector of Mars located below— and to the right of—the Namaste cliff. __Climbing__ On five rather well-protected beginner’s routes (3b–6a) on a blocky, unassuming piece of rock. __Gear__ A single 60m rope + 16 QDs. __Conditions__ Good for cloudy days in spring and fall or for sunny days in winter. __Shade (Exposure: S)__ Never. There’s sun all day long. __Kids__ OK, with the usual precautions.
