Psilovrachos

Peloponnese, GR

__Psilóvrachos__ is near the village of Hárakas, at the top of the scenic downhill road to Kyparissi. It is a good crag for hot days if you climb 6c–8b. Routes were bolted for the CLIMB KYPARISSI project: routes 1–6 by Aris Theodoropoulos and Claude Idoux (2016); all others by Yiannis Torelli (2015). __Climbing__ On 24 hard routes (6c–8b) on limestone of supreme quality. The warm-up routes, on a very long vertical wall on the left, start at the road (beware of car traffic when belaying). The main sector on the right is a very compact, overhanging cliff with routes starting at 7a. __Gear__ A single 80m rope + 30 QDs. __Conditions__ Best for spring, summer, and fall. Bring long sleeves! __Shade (Exposure: E)__ The crag is high up and gets shade after 14:30. __Kids__ No.
