Wimberry

Peak District, GB

Wimberry is practically ignored by many Peak climbers, which is good. The circuit is just as fine as any of the classic eastern venues, but it’s only half as spoilt and it’s twice as quiet. The boulders are strewn down the steep hillside below the crag and they contain stacks of classic problems, many of which you probably won’t have heard of. The rock is rough, but not painfully so, and of top-notch quality.
