Churfirsten (Extrem)

For a few of the classic Churfirsten South Face routes, the following advice is not too far off the mark: “You’re probably better off grabbing onto a clump of grass than finding a solid hold in the rock at Churfirsten”! This won’t be necessary at Zuestoll as the compact rock on the steep walls is a pure joy. The best approach seems to be from the north. You may already want to wear your harness when going to “Palisnideri“. The traverse that goes along the base of the wall is protected by bolts and cable tag lines.
