Reduit (Extrem)

Steep granite climbing requiring all of a 20 second approach (depending on how fit you are!) and with not much sunshine, but a lot of shade are the reasons why Reduit is the ideal summer after-work climbing area. The climbing is technically challenging and may take some getting used to. Additionally, the protection is sparse and the leads are heady. The area is incorporated land within Canton Uri. Even though climbing here is tolerated, you should always remain on your best behavior and act appropriately (correctly greet all passing-by generals, etc.!)
