Salvadanaio

Salvadanaio is the first crag in this side valley of Val Pennavaire, that ends in Colla del Prione and is placed between Monte Galero and Monte Dubasso, along the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri. The area is well worth a visit even if you are not a climber. Salvadanaio is the latest addition to the climbing site, and this small valley still has a lot to offer.The crag faces West and North and is surrounded by the wood. The Western side has vertical walls and slabs on the left and sustained routes with small roofs on the right; the Northern side still has open projects.Thanks to altitude (900 m above sea level) this crag is perfect for the hot season, it's a quiet place and still not many climbers came here, even if there are some interesting pitches.
