Caprette
Liguria, IT
After the bolting of the Garage, Fulvio Balbi had to make up for his joke. He found the cave Caprette. Its overhanging walls with tufas were an excellent test terrain for the first attempts of overhanging stamina routes. Luca Biondi and Dinda have given the crag some attention, extending some of Fulvio’s routes and bolting the missing lines.Today the Caprette offers really nice overhanging routes with good holds. The grades are not yet calculated in Euro and one shouldn’t think that a 6c is “only” a 6c. The place is nevertheless very nice and is ideal for winter afternoons. While climbing here one feels like being on a balcony facing the valley.
