Rian Cornei - Ronchiadilly Circus
Liguria, IT
It takes a visionary to discover a similar sector, literally hanging on the slopes that border the lower part of the Val Cornei; and in 1987 Fulvio Balbi could only be the first to trace the first route, Malafemmina; the times were perhaps a little early to explore the full potential of the cliff and so we have to get up to 2013 to see new routes equipped. With the Ronchiadilly Circus Matteo Caropreso and Sebastian Bush have created one of the sectors with the highest concentration of extreme routes at Finale, ideal even in the warmer seasons, as the sector never sees the sun. It climbs on rock-washed walls that at times appear a little sandy and impose a mix of resistance and technique to be able to climb the present routes.
