Vasilissa

Vasilissa comprises three crags located a short distance from Kalamies Beach—better known as the “Pirate” beach: Scali, Vasilissa Main, and Paradise Garden. The cliffs are clearly visible from the road. __Why is this an app-only crag? __ Not popular, with sharp grey slabs and still some loose rock. Another hot crag that stays in the sun almost all day. __Climbing__ On rock with some loose, not very good parts. Routes do not have many ascents, therefore they may still need gardening, and some need additional cleaning to remove loose or fragile rock. Worse yet, the bolts used in 9 out of 10 routes at sub-sector Paradise Garden are non-stainless steel. Grades and star ratings have been suggested by the equippers. More ascents are needed to confirm grade and quality. Helmets are mandatory. __Conditions__ Hot and sunny starting in early morning. Protected from the north wind.
