Saint George

Kalymnos, GR

Saint George is a small crag located on the southeastern tip of the island, a 10-minute walk along a path off the Pothia–Vlychadia road. It features medium quality rock and afternoon shade. __Why is this an app-only crag? __ A contender for the worst crag on Kalymnos. There really is nothing attractive about it. __Climbing__ On short routes up a slightly overhanging or vertical wall and very sharp rock. Not up to the usual Kalymnos quality standards. Some loose rock, too, so be extra careful. __Conditions__ Year-round climbing is possible, as long as you use common sense and stay in the shade during warmer months. __Shade__ Exposure: E After 15:00. __Kids __ No, there is some loose rock. __Busy__ 1/3
