Milianos is a very quiet sector on the way to Vathy village. The mountain valley in which it is situated is peaceful and there are no houses in view. There is potential here for a lot more new routes. The first routes at Milianos were equipped back in 2008 at Milianos Left, but the crag was not included in the 2015 edition of the guidebook. Recently, nearly 50 routes were added, mostly to Milianos Cave, the cliff near a large cave which is clearly visible from the road, so the crag is expected to attract more traffic. The beautiful village and fjord of Rina–Vathy is only a further 15 minutes away by scooter. Don’t miss the chance for a swim there before or after you climb.
CLIMBING: Mostly steep, slabby climbing on grey rock with a mountain feel. The vegetation can be obstructive, though, and the routes need more cleaning and traffic.
