Kasteli is on the west side of the obvious small peninsula with the cone-shaped hill, right above the sea as you leave Masouri going north. The crag is at a serene spot just next to the water, on the northwest side of the hill; an extensive area of steep, rough, but compact slabs of grey limestone.
CLIMBING: On sometimes sharp but compact grey slabs. There are many lower-grade routes for beginners plus a number of demanding vertical slabs.
__The North Wall__ features routes on grey slabs and walls. It is ideal for afternoon climbing. Exposure: N
__The Main Wall__ is an Attractive Face above the sea with steep grey slabs and routes around 6a. Exosure: W
The __Easy Slab__ feaures some lower-grade routes on a sharp off-vertical slab. some routesare sparsely bolted for the grade. Exposure. SW
The __Back Cave__ is a small cave with short overhanging routes on good holds. Despite the rope, it almost feels like bouldering. The quickdraws are fixed in place, but take your own, because some of the carabiners no longer open. Exposure: SE
