Julian
Kalymnos, GR
A grey wall located mid-way along the road from Arginonta to Vathy. By Kalymnos standards it is not a top crag, but the equippers have improved the bolting and it is good for leading easy routes. Nevertheless, some routes are squeezed too close to one another and the rock can be dubious at parts. More recently (2021), eight new routes were added to the wall located 100m left of the main slab, just past an old goat pen. A few short routes were also added to a short blocky wall on the right.
Sadly, the approach path is marked with huge, loud yellow waymarks, probably painted by an overly eager volunteer. Similarly, the oversized route names are painted in red.
__Why is this an app-only crag? __
Rock quality is average by Kalymnos standards. Some routes are squeezed too close to each other. Rock can be dubious at parts.
