Afternoon is a beautiful grey slab to the left of Grande Grotta with a diverse assortment of climbs from 4a–7b+. If you can lead 5c to 6a you will really enjoy it, but there are also some very good 6bs and 6cs here. Sector Afternoon is a good crag for warming up before hitting the surreal overhangs of Grande Grotta next door. Furthermore, it is northwest-facing, which makes it good for climbing on hot summer days.
CLIMBING: On vertical or slightly off-vertical grey rock. Pleasant slabs (left), quality walls (right), and a few superb long pitches.
