Val Rosandra is a picturesque valley, which is like a scene from a Western. Small river on the bottom, endless scree slopes, waterfall and steep walls facing all sides. In between, apart from a few hidden villages, there are no signs of civilization. The old railway track was repurposed as a walking / biking path, while there‘s also a path on every slope, perfect for accessing the crags. Despite high protection of the area, this has always been a historical place for climbing, with the oldest routes in the whole area. Sadly, many sectors still retain the characteristics of the old days. Apart from that, the climbing here is varied and at times top notch and unforgettable.
