Zadvarje

Zadvarje is a small village situated close to the A1 highway (exit Šestanovac). It is also a 10 min drive from the sea and is located close to the canyon of the river Cetina. At this location, the canyon is the deepest (150 m) and you should definitely go to the viewpoint to enjoy the view of the 60-m high waterfall Velika Gubavica. It is also recommended to experience a thrilling and exciting canyoning tour. The crag is 3 min drive from the center of Zadvarje and 3 min walk from the parking area. The sector is best for autumn and spring because it is very hot in summer. It is close to the road but offers a peaceful day with beautiful surroundings. There are nice meadows at its bottom, which make it a great place for a nice climbing day with the family or camping. Do not light fires in summertime because it is forbidden by the law, but camping is allowed. It is close to the mountain Biokovo, great for hiking or multipitch climbing.
