Osoje

The potential for climbing in the area of Čikola Canyon is vast. Many areas are still in development, and various new sectors will open soon. Čikola is the perfect location for choosing your active holidays as there is also a via-Ferrata and zip-line, all located in the area of Krka National Park. The climbing site Osoje in the canyon of river Čikola is oriented south, so it is more suitable for climbing during winter or in the late afternoon during summer. The climbing site was equipped within the broader EU project of establishing a recreational zone; therefore the approach trails and viewpoints are nicely prepared, and climbing routes are appropriate for beginners as well as more experienced climbers looking for a challenge. There are about 60 routes (graded 4b-7b). Because the climbing is located in the near vicinity of Krka National Park, all visitors are requested to behave appropriately during their stay, more info here: https://www.np-krka.hr/stranice/park-rules/48/en.html. Camping is allowed on parking for Osoje, Bandusovac, Metin, Sračara, Cigića greda but it is not allowed on parking for Brštane and Čelinka. The crag is not suitable for climbing during summer as the sun is on the crag all day. All routes are well bolted; the crag is ideal for the 4a-7b level of climbers.
