El Libro

El Libro (“The Book”) is an impressive, isolated sector standing high on the slopes of Montsant. The walls are ‘only’ vertical but the lack of holds means that most of the routes are in the high 7th and 8th grades. Unfortunately, due to a bank of loose earth above the cliff, which releases material every time it rains, most climbs will need a little cleaning before a serious attempt is made. Orientation: southwest — sun after early afternoon. Orientation: south — sun for most of the day.
