La Cueta

Castile-Leon, ES

Prior to reaching the village of La Cueta, a beautiful spot in the region of Babia, lie some excellent limestone walls on the right hand side, called the La Cueta crag. The bolting exists thanks to the Sociedad Deportiva Peña Rubia. The crag is located at a height of between 1450 and 1750 metres high, making this a very well suited spot on warm days. The routes are not very long but they are worth paying a visit if visiting the Cordillera Cantábrica. Best season: In autumn and spring if you want to climb the whole day, or on summer mornings.
