The long, yet trouble free approach can easily be combined with a spring ski tour. A crack of noon start is OK because the sun, depending on the time of year, doesn’t hit the wall until after 10am. The classic SW Spur was somewhat “restored” in 1999 by mountain guides Ueli and Richi Arnold. The Remy Brothers also retrofitted it a bit more in 2015. They also gave “Paradis Perdu” a face lift. Have a blast skiing corn snow and Plaisir climbing in a high alpine glacier world.
