Tamayurt Rocks

At the end of the Awmrkt valley, opposite the prominent tor of Oudafne, is a collection of huge boulders just before the Awmrkt track swings south towards the Painted Rocks. This is one of the most picturesque spots in the Tafraout landscape, and is frequently used by locals as a bbq venue at weekends. The boulders themselves hold some excellent bouldering (described on page 179), but for climbers in search of some spectacular and photogenic evening climbing, the following routes are recommended.
