Eflodne

The super little summit of Eflodne (marked as spot height 1285m on the MiniMap series) is located approximately 2km south of the Painted Rocks. Comprised of the best granite in the region, its north face stays in the shade for most of the day and is approached easily in a matter of minutes from the road to the Painted Rocks. The summit itself gives one of the best viewpoints Tafraout has to offer, and an ascent is highly recommended – as well as the climbs on the northwest side there is an easy walk up the left (east) side, and an attractive scramble up to the right of NW Buttress.
