Villanueva Tercia has become an area of varying degrees relative to climbing and styles. There are long routes, technicals, verticals and slightly overhanging climbs, in an idyllic setting (only spoiled by the passing train and motorway traffic). The range is the hallmark of this beautiful climbing corner.
In winter with the sunshine it is perfect, however on cloudy days it can be very cold. During summer, on sunny days it can be climbed except early on when it is better to choose other options.
From the car park there is a path to the crags. The approach takes 20 to 30 minutes depending of the chosen crag.
