Peñas Juntas has medium and high difficulty routes. We will only review the better bolted areas,
with easy access and comfortable place under the climbs.
In Muro de Arriba, you can climb routes with different grades. It has first class rock with very

It is in El Planchón where we find one of the corners of reference in terms of difficulty of routes in
Once parked, ascend to the Senda del Oso and walk until you reach an old building. A path appears on the left side and in a zig-zag go up through a forest and after along a rocky path. Ascend the rocky path and once you reach the middle of the path go to the rock. Cross the forest, and after few metres the way splits in two. Go straight to reach Planchon, turn right if you want to reach Muro de Arriba. (Refer to the map).
From Oviedo take the A-63 towards Grao and then the exit to Trubia. Pass the village towards Proaza taking AS-228. Once in Proaza follow the road and after 4Km go through a tunnel. After it turn left and after passing the old road bridge, there is a car park.
