Crèpe de Oucèra Bassi is one of the largest climbing crags around Cortina. Due to the favorable
orientation of the wall, it is located in the shade starting at noon and is, therefore, an ideal destination during the summer months. The
compact and almost exclusively vertical cliff has a high number of medium difficulty routes in the
area. However, caution should be taken because of the somewhat spaced bolts in the first meters.
Cross the road and go through the
forest clearing. Here on the left side starts a broad, flat path which leads directly through the forest to the climbing crag in 5 minutes.
From Cortina take the road towards
Passo Falzarego. After several kilometers you will pass Hotel Argentina and then turn left towards
Passo Giau. Follow this road past a hut until it crosses a small stream and begin a series of bends. Right after the first turn to the right there
is a parking lot on the left side of the road. For better orientation:
On the opposite side of the street there is a small forest clearing.
